What is it?

We have developed the KUZUKApproved* seal to give our corporate clients a high-visibility way to show their customers that they have taken positive steps to manage their carbon footprint.

How Does My Company Become KUZUKApproved?

Most other companies that are operating in the carbon offset industry require their corporate clients to actually purchase carbon offsets to get recognized as having taken action to address climate change. At Kuzuka we applaud the efforts of all companies that are taking steps to manage their carbon footprint, and we recognize that offset purchases are just one of many positive actions that can be taken.

A huge part of corporate carbon management is what happens before offsets are purchased, including the all-important steps of assessment and reduction. Thus our KUZUKApproved status is granted to all of our corporate clients that work with Kuzuka to undertake one or more of the following positive steps to manage their carbon footprint:

  • Conduct a carbon footprint assessment and establish a reduction plan
  • Implement measures to reduce their carbon footprint
  • Offset emissions that cannot reasonably be avoided by purchasing verified and real carbon offsets
